Floral Fantasy is a must for kids who love nature and wildlife and a sure treat for all those who love fantasy and the dream world!

Gardens by the Bay is one of Singapore’s most prized attractions, and with the opening of the new Floral Fantasy exhibit, they certainly did not disappoint! This dream-like, fantastical experience is made up of four diverse garden landscapes, each of which showcases a different concept. To top off the experience is a simulated 4D ride called The Flight of the Dragonfly – a journey from a dragonfly’s viewpoint, zooming past the Supertrees and other attractions in the Gardens.

As you walk through the garden, the settings change from lush greenery to an enchanting cave, with the sounds of the waterfalls and fountains guiding you through. As you venture deeper in, the fascinating poison dart frog display catches

everyone’s eye. For most of my hour in the exhibit, I found myself watching these brightly coloured frogs – hailing from all corners of the globe – and trying to capture as many videos and photos as I could!

At the very end, is the 4D ride, inviting the audience to transform into the body of a dragonfly as it soars through Gardens by the Bay.

This is the highlight of the entire exhibit, with every sense stimulated through the special effects of the film.
