Aabha Hattangadi visits Marina Square Mall and discovers Pororo Park, a play area for toddlers with an array of activities to keep them happy and engaged.

 

The park is best suited for children between the ages of 2 and 6 years and the specified age requirements for different activities ensure the safety of all the children. 

 

Generally, adults are expected to accompany their children.

 

Pororo ExpressUpon entering, you are greeted by the Pororo Express which offers toddlers an exciting 15 minute indoor joy ride, while still under the watchful eyes of their parents.

 

Tong Tong’s Little TheatreThis theatre provides exciting shows and music for children. The first show begins at 12.00 noon and the last show is at 6.00 p.m. on both weekdays and weekends. 

 

Shark Ball PoolThis activity allows children to play in a pool filled with colourful balls – something that instantly brings joy to most toddlers. The balls in the pool are regularly sanitized to ensure a hygienic environment for the toddlers.

 

Pororo’s House For young fans of the TV show Pororo the Little Penguin – which is the running theme in this park – getting a glimpse into Pororo’s house is an exciting experience.

 

Petty’s SupermarketThis mini supermarket allows toddlers to play-act the experience of buying things from a supermarket as well as playing the role of a cashier – piqueing the interest of toddlers who yearn to act like grown ups.

 

Hinoki PitThis pit is like an indoor sand pit, however it is filled with small blocks of wood rather than sand. Children play with toys such as shovels and trucks in this attraction.

 

Poby’s Jungle Gym This is activity is hard to miss and decidedly a favourite with children. It is a large padded jungle gym in which toddlers can roam with ease. Parents are required to accompany children under three years of age.

 

Pororo Bouncy CastleThis inflatable play area is ideal for energetic toddlers, and it is strategically placed, close to massage chairs provided for parents.

 

Eddy’s ClassroomHere, informative classes, held for toddlers, teach them interesting experiments such as how to mix colours together to form different colours. This room is also used for birthday party celebrations and can be booked in advance for this purpose. 

 

Toddler Area This is a small area, close to the cafe, where parents can leave their children to play while grabbing a bite. 

 

Rody’s Toy StoreThis gives children, especially fans of Pororo, the opportunity to buying toys and games before leaving the Park.

  • Carry a pair of socks, as you are not permitted to enter without socks 
  • Only food and beverages from the cafe inside the park are allowed inside
