Free Admission

Along Yuan Ching Road

Designed to promote well-being through close contact with nature, this garden is 3,100 sq meters, divided into two parts, one for adults, one for kids. The kids’ garden has play features designed for children with mild autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorders. It is designed with various sensory zones (for smell, touch, sound and sight) and play elements, such as musical play instruments, a wheelchair-friendly crawling trellis, a labyrinth with glow in the dark pathways and floor imprints of the animals and insects found in Jurong Lake Gardens. It is also connected to the adult’s section of the Therapeutic Garden and adjoins the Butterfly Maze to provide more opportunities for young visitors to experience the therapeutic effects of greenery.

The Lake Gardens’ Butterfly Maze has more child-friendly areas. Signboards inform about pollination and the life cycle of butterflies, the different patterns in nature, a wooden recipe book offers info on making a refreshing lime juice with sour plum, swings, slides, percussion instruments and butterflies in a maze.

Check the weather before visiting as there are not many shelters in case of rain. Remember the sunscreen and mosquito repellent !
